The Committee
Under the organisation’s Constitution, the Committee is responsible for the control and management of the association’s affairs.
The Committee meets in Lismore at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every second month, except in December. All Northern Rivers Wildlife Carers members are welcome to attend. Please contact a current Committee member if you wish to attend, in order to confirm date, time and venue, as these may change from time to time. Our next meetings are due to be held in July and September
The Committee consists of:
- the Chairperson;
- the Vice Chairperson;
- the Secretary;
- the Treasurer;
- the Publicity Officer;
- the Coordinators’ Liaison Officer;
- the Liaison – National Parks and Wildlife Service;
- the Training Officer; and
- two Ordinary Members.
Committee members are elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and hold office until the next AGM. In the event of a casual vacancy, the Committee may appoint a member of Northern Rivers Wildlife Carers Inc. to fill the vacancy until the next AGM.
There are currently vacancies on the Committee of the association. Therefore, if you are a financial member of the association and are interested in being part of the Committee, please feel free to contact one of the current Committee members.
